Titan Forge reviewed the permit set, confirmed the specified material and connection details, and fabricated the steel package from the approved drawings before arriving on site.

SCOPE OF WORK
Titan Forge was brought in to fabricate and install the complete structural steel package for this large-scale custom home build. All work was performed from engineer-stamped permit drawings produced by Engineering West LLC and fabricated in accordance with the approved project documents and applicable building-code requirements.
Work included:
- Engineered moment frame fabrication and field installation
- Horizontal beam connections with 3/8″ web stiffeners and A325 high-strength bolts
- Garage beam package — full fabrication and installation
- Basement and main floor structural beam system
- Custom ridge plates for exposed timber truss connections — fabricated to 1/2″ plate spec with A325 bolt patterns
- Mag-drilled bolt holes at 24″ spacing, alternating left and right sides per structural drawings
- CNC plasma-cut structural caps for precision alignment with load-bearing columns and posts
- Field installation on active construction site coordinating with general contractor schedule
FIELD INSTALLATION ON AN ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION SITE
Structural steel doesn’t install itself. This project required coordinating with the general contractor’s schedule, working around active trades on site, and solving field conditions that don’t always match what’s on the drawings.
Titan Forge handled all of the following on site:
- Precise layout and alignment of moment frame components
- Mag drilling bolt holes in the field to exact spacing
- Final fit-up, welding, and installation checks before moving to the next frame.
- Coordination with framing crew to keep the project on schedule
